Description
Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC, seeks a Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations and ensure exceptional patient care. Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care
Develop, implement, and update nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care
Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulatory requirements
Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives using data and clinical metrics
Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and scheduling for nursing staff
Coach, mentor, and develop nurse leaders and frontline nursing staff
Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation to support efficient operations
Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and administrators to coordinate care
Drive initiatives to improve patient experience and clinical outcomes
Support staff education, orientation, and ongoing competency development
Lead change management efforts related to new programs, technologies, and care models
Promote a positive, supportive, and collaborative work environment aligned with organizational values

Certification in Nursing Administration (e.g., NE-BC, NEA-BC) preferred
